As important as our dogs (the boys) are to us, I guarantee you we feel there isn't any better care available than we receive at Heritage- they are THE BEST!!!
The doctors were great about listening to all of my concerns. They gave me their honest input and gave me different options for the issues. Instead of right away recommending our dog get lumps removed and go on prescription medication for allergies, they gave us alternative ways to treat it that wouldn't cost so much. If those don't work, they said come back and we'll take about another avenue. I really appreciated that they weren't so concerned with making money, but what was best for our dog and our finances.
The staff and veterinarians are always friendly and knowledgeable.

We have been taking our canine kids to Heritage since we moved to the area more than 20 years ago and we wouldn't think of going anywhere else. People who know us know our dogs are family (our boys). When anyone asks for a vet referral we always are happy to tell them how wonderful Dr. Oberschlake and his whole team at Heritage Animal Hospital are and how we can most highly recommend them. The whole staff is knowledgeable and caring not just for your pet but also for you as the pet owner/parent. We have been through a lot with our many boys over the 20 years and we truly feel the staff at Heritage has been right there with us every step of the way, helping us through every puppy phase, giving us the best care, guiding us with information and options and being there right through the ups and downs with progressing serious illness and aging and the eventual sorrow of loss. They are always quick to provide solid information and options but never make us feel pressured, belittled or even let on when we may be a little bit crazy over something :0).
Dr. Pape is amazing! He took so much time and care with all my questions regarding the aging problems with my dog. I feel so confident that the plan we agreed on will make my dog comfortable and improve his activity and comfort as he ages. Thank you to all the Heritage Staff for the above the call performance and assistance you continually give. Kudos to all of you. You are all amazing!!!!
